Rev.James Cordiner was the late Chaplain to the Garrison at Columbo. The
two volumes of text are full of interesting and descriptive comments. The
sepia, stone lithograph plates are of a very high quality showing various
scenes of local life and architecture (7'x9", except for two large folding
ones of Trincomallee 12"x8"). Full page map of Ceylon, further town plan
of Columbo. First edition, 2 volumes, generally in good and clean condition,
just a few pages with brown spotting. Rebound with marble boards, leather
